We will prepare today a plum with cinnamon baby puree recipe (from 6 months).
Plum is the perfect fruit when baby has small constipation problems. Indeed, it is an excellent natural laxative: we avoid drugs as much as we can!
Cinnamon will bring its little spicy touch that will prepare the baby’s palate for stronger, more intense tastes. Be careful, be subtle! A pinch is enough for a beautiful baby fruit puree!
Here’s what we need for this plum with cinnamon baby puree recipe (from 6 months):
- - 3 big plums
- - 1 pinch of cinnamon
- - Mineral water
- - A saucepan
Let’s start by washing our plums, which are preferably organics, then cut them in half to remove the core. Peel the plums.
If they are ripe as desired, then no need to cut them in small pieces, they will melt as needed during cooking.
Place the plums in your saucepan with a little bit of mineral water, and add the pinch of cinnamon. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Once cooking is finished, all you have to do is to throw all the cooking water (unless you want to make a plum-cinnamon juice for baby …), and mix the plums that have simmered with the cinnamon.
