Today we’re making a plum and cinnamon compote.
Plum is the perfect fruit when baby is having minor constipation issues. It’s an excellent natural laxative, and we avoid medication whenever we can!
Cinnamon adds a gentle spicy note that helps introduce baby’s palate to stronger, more intense flavors. Just make sure it stays subtle! A pinch is enough for a lovely baby compote of about 7 oz (200 g).
Here’s what we need for baby’s recipe:

Preparation

Cooking
Place the plums in a saucepan with 1/4 cup mineral water (60 ml), and add the pinch of cinnamon. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Once cooking is finished, all that’s left is to discard the cooking water (unless you’d like to make a plum-cinnamon juice for baby…), then blend the plums that simmered with the cinnamon.

It’s ready! Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving the compote for baby’s afternoon snack.
Enjoy, baby!
