My daughter loves this green beans, ham and Kiri® cheese puree, so I really wanted to share it with you!
Green beans with ham and Kiri cheese baby puree recipe (from 6 months)
Green beans are a source of fiber and vitamins. Ham is one of the first meats we can give to babies, and Kiri® brings a touch of milky sweetness to this baby puree 🙂
I am starting to give a little texture to her purees because my daughter is 7 months old. But if you are preparing this recipe for your 6 month old baby, don’t hesitate to smooth it out!
Here is what you need to prepare this green beans with ham and Kiri cheese puree recipe for your baby (from 6 months, I have prepared 5 portions with these quantities! I let you divide to prepare a little less if you want, but you can keep some in the freezer for later, it is ideal and it saves time).
- - 16 oz green beans (450g)
- - 2 potatoes
- - 1 slice of ham
- - 2 Kiri cheese portions
- - Olive oil
Start by hulling and wash your fresh green beans. Hulling is the step which takes time but it is necessary.
Put your green beans in the steam basket.
Now your potatoes.
Wash, peel and cut them into thin slices. They will steam with the green beans.
Once your potatoes and green beans are in the steam basket, steam for about 13 minutes
Cut the ham into small pieces and prepare your Kiri portions.
Put everything in the blender with your steamed vegetables.
Blend! Again, depending on your baby’s age, adjust the texture. You should have a smooth texture at 6 months, crushed at 7 months and mouliné at 8 months.
Add 1 tsp of olive oil each time you serve 1 portion.
